SAISD has hired Ashley Gould as the Head Volleyball Coach at Lake View High School, said a press release this week. She is currently the Head Volleyball Coach at Wall High School, where she started the school’s volleyball program.
A native of San Angelo, Gould is a graduate of SAISD and Angelo State University. She worked for SAISD as an assistant coach at Central High School from 2007-2012. During her years at Wall High School, she was named the 6-3A District Coach of the Year for two consecutive years, the Standard-Times All West Texas Volleyball Coach of the Year in 2014, and the FCA All Star Volleyball Coach earlier this month.
In addition to her coaching duties, Gould will also teach math at Lake View High School.
