Jim Bass Ford Awards $1,000 Scholarship

Yesterday, May 17, Jim Bass Ford, Inc. and the National FFA Organization awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a local resident of Tom Green County, Ashley Nicole Wilde.

 Ashley is the daughter of James and Christine Wilde, and is a senior at Wall High School. She will be attending Texas A&M University in the fall of 2016.

Across the country, over 8,388 applications were submitted for this scholarship. Out of the 8,388 applicants, only 1,791 were awarded through the National FFA Organization, and Ashley Wilde was one of those awarded.

Jim Bass Ford, Inc. has been a sponsor of the FFA scholarship program for over a decade.
