"Anything Goes" Benefit Hosted for San Angelo's Family Shelter

 

A press release today announced that an “Anything Goes” showcase of San Angelo’s many dance groups will be performing Friday, May 20, at the BackBeat Music Company Big Sky Room, 102 Chadbourne St.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m. Friday night. The event is $10 per person children under 18 are free when accompanied by adult.

All proceeds benefit the San Angelo’s Family Shelter; this means that this event is tax-deductible. The Family Shelter provides a safe haven and numerous programs for local victims of domestic violence.

The dance lineup includes ASU Urban Dance Society, Greek dancers, Grupo Folklorico Meztli, Jubilee Fitness, Lone Star Cloggers, Promenade Squares, Raks Sanan, San Angelo Swing Dance, and Studio Jade ballroom.

The dance groups will perform 10 different types of dance styles. They will shimmy, shake, and hip-hop for the Shelter.

After the program, the dance groups will be available for questions and information.
