City of San Angelo Will Recognize 96 Employees on April 8

 

Ninety-six public servants will be recognized April 8 at the Fort Concho Stables for their loyal service to the City of San Angelo, said a press release Monday.

The City employees who will be honored at the annual Service Awards Presentation have a cumulative total of 1,385 years of experience. Service awards will be presented to employees celebrating five- 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, 30-, 35- and 40-year milestone anniversaries. Thirty-four employees have five years of service, 17 have 10 years of service, five employees have 15 years of service, 15 have 20 years of service, 20 employees have 25 years of service, two employees have 30 years of service, two employees have 35 years of service, and one has 40 years of service.

The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, April 8, at the Fort Concho Stables, 630 S. Oakes St., and is open to friends and family of the honorees.

“We congratulate our employees on their achievement,” Human Resources Director Lisa Marley said. “Their hard work and loyalty to the City of San Angelo – and their service to our community and its citizens – is greatly appreciated.”
