The City of San Angelo is seeking applicants for the April 23, 2016 Entrance Examination for Rookie Police Officer, said a press release Thursday.
Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 in the City’s Human Resources Department located at 1 City Hall Plaza, San Angelo, TX 76903. The April 23 exam will be held at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive, San Angelo Texas, 76903. Registration is from 8:30-9:00 a.m. Applicants must present their Driver’s License and Social Security Card at registration.
Study material for the peace officer civil service entrance exam can be checked out from the Police Department's Community Services Division at 505 S. Chadbourne once an application to take the exam is filed with Human Resources. There is no charge for checking out the material.
Applicants traveling 90 miles or more will be allowed to take the physical agility test following the written exam. All local applicants will complete the physical agility test the following Saturday, April 30, 2016. The time and location will be determined after completion of the written exam.
