Local Lake Parks to Begin Collecting Entry Fees

The City of San Angelo announced today that Spring Creek and Middle Concho parks on Lake Nasworthy will begin collecting entry fees beginning Saturday, March 5.

In keeping with City ordinance, entry fees to the two parks are collected on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, including Good Friday, from the first weekend in March through the Labor Day weekend.

Entry fees are $3 per vehicle for San Angelo residents and $6 per vehicle for non-residents. The fees are paid at the entrance booths in both parks.

According to the press release, camping permits are required year-round. Camping fees are $6 per night for San Angelo residents and $12 per night for non-residents. Camping permits can be purchased at the parks’ entrances and at Spring Creek Marina in Spring Creek Park.

Annual entry permits are also available for purchase for $20 per vehicle or $10 per vehicle for those 65 or older or handicapped.
