Three Arrested on Drug & Fraud Charges in Abilene

Earlier this week, the Abilene Police Department Fraud Unit, with the assistance of the Special Operations Division, executed a search warrant at a home located in the 400 Block of Burger Street. Three people were arrested, and officials seized several hundred dollars in property and located over 50 stolen pieces of identification at the residence.

This arrest was part of an ongoing investigation in which the Fraud Unit and Special Operations Division spent hours surveilling the suspects and the residence. This case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s office, said Abilene Police officials.

Brittany Womack, 29: Class B Criminal Trespass, 1st Degree Felony Fraudulent Possession Identification, Class A Possession of Dangerous Drug, State Jail Felony Possession of Methamphetamine.

Frank Gutierrez, 38: 1st Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance/ Methamphetamine.
