Veterans and Stakeholders Invited to Participate in Town Hall Meeting

 

Kalautie JangDhari, Interim Director of West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS), is inviting veterans and stakeholders of the San Angelo, Texas area to attend and participate in a Town Hall Meeting, said a press release Thursday. The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the San Angelo VFW, 125 S. Browning Street in San Angelo.

According to the press release, the Town Hall Meeting will provide an opportunity to engage veteran stakeholders in an interpersonal way and reaffirm that the needs of veterans are at the center of VA health care. Ms. JangDhari will provide a brief opening statement on general WTVAHCS information that will be followed by a question and answer session. The goal of the Town Hall Meeting is to focus on global items related to VA services; VA representatives will be available to discuss individual concerns. The Southwest Regional Director of TriWest Healthcare Alliance will also be present to answer questions on the VA Choice Program.

Questions of a general nature will be discussed in open forum.
