The drawings for the winner of the $1,000 Sunset Mall/JC Penny Survey contest, and the five $100 winners of the Concho Christmas Celebration Community Hosts contest were held on Jan. 30 at Sunset Mall.
Chairman of Concho Christmas Celebration Lee Pfluger drew the $1,000 winning survey card from over 7,096 visitor surveys from this year’s Tour of Lights. Sarah Mankin, from Eldorado and a medicine practitioner in Lubbock, is this year’s winner. Mankin’s visit to the Tour of Lights was a continuation of an annual family tradition, said a press release Wednesday.
The Community Hosts Contest winners are Mateo Hernandez from San Angelo Bicycle Association, David Behrend from REACT, Hunter Gomez from SAISD, Dillon Zaruba from Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd and Jonathan Jennings from San Angelo Bicycle Association.
“These winners represent over 969 community volunteer hours contributed by our Community Hosts this year,” said the press release. “Concho Christmas Celebration, Sunset Mall and JC Penny would like to congratulate all the contest winners.”
