The Pregnancy Help Center to Host Concert for Life

 

The Pregnancy Help Center of Concho Valley will be hosting a free “Concert for Life” Saturday beginning at noon at the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd, 355 W. Beauregard, behind HEB, said a press release.

According to the release, the come-and-go event will feature local musicians of all ages, including the St. Ambrose Catholic Church choir from Wall; Bride Song, A Christian worship band; blue grass gospel band Concho Grass; and a children’s program. Music will be in the sanctuary and Parish Hall.

Additionally, a silent auction will include original artwork, a barbecue cooker, and many other items donated by local merchants. A drawing will also be held for a queen-size quilt; raffle tickets will be $1 each, and donations to the Pregnancy Help Center will be accepted.

Attendees can also enjoy a “Chili when it’s Chilly” bar, which will sell chili, chili dogs, Frito pies, hot chocolate, coffee, sodas, soft drinks and desserts.

The Friends of the Pregnancy Help Center, a volunteer support organization, will present this event.
