Missing Juvenile Briana Esquivel Confirmed Unharmed

San Angelo teen Brian Esquivel, who has been missing since Jan. 15, returned home Friday. Since her disappearance, San Angelo Police considered the teen an “endangered” runaway because of her age; however, in a press release Monday, SAPD confirmed the teenager is home and safe.

Tracy Gonzalez, public information & social media officer for SAPD, stated SAPD received a call Fri., Dec. 11, from Esquivel’s father who reported the teen returned home. Investigators subsequently interviewed Esquivel and confirmed the teen unharmed.

Esquivel was originally reported missing on Jan. 15, 2015, and foul play was not suspected. Evidence throughout the investigation led police to believe Esquivel was a runaway.
