The White Rose Bereavement Group will be hosting a candlelight service in the Baby Rose Garden at the Shannon Women's & Children's Center, said a press release Tuesday. The service, which is open to the public, will take place at 6 p.m. on December 6.
In addition to the Candlelight Service, a Tree of Remembrance will be placed in the lobby of the Women's & Children's hospital. An ornament will also be placed on the tree for each child by their family.
The group is devoted to giving support to parents who have lost a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or newborn death. This ceremony is to remember those babies and help the families.
