The City of San Angelo Holds Online Auction

The City of San Angelo is auctioning 51 lots and items of surplus, vehicles, and other equipment through November 24 at renebates.com, said a press release Tuesday.

Seized vehicles, a zamboni, tractor, dump truck, and air hockey, foosball, and ping-pong tables are just a few of the items to be auctioned.

Bidding will close on Tuesday November 24 at 2 p.m.

On Friday, November 20, auction items are available to be viewed by appointment only. Contact City Fleet Service at 325-657-4329 or [email protected] to schedule an appointment.

In recent years, the city moved from a large live auction to a fully online auction. Ryan Kramer, Superintendent of Fleet Services, administers the auction for the city and said the items have become available to a wider audience, therefore revenue from online auction sales have increased.

Rene Bates Auctioneers, which conducts online auctions for multiple Texas municipalities, will be administering this auction. According to the press release, funds raised will be returned to the appropriate city fund, such as the general, water, or airport funds.
