The Health Department in San Angelo Will Close Nov. 17 – 20

 

The San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department will close Tuesday, Nov. 17 through Friday, Nov. 20, so staff can attend the Texas Immunization Conference, said a press release Monday.

According to the press release, the weekly immunization clinic normally conducted on Tuesdays will be on Monday, Nov. 16 instead, and will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 1 pm. to 4:30 p.m. There will be no tuberculosis testing, however.

The Texas Vaccines for Children program provides free vaccines to health care providers to immunize uninsured and underinsured children from birth to 18 years.

The Health Department’s normal operating hours are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It’s located at 2030 Pulliam St., Suite 8.
