Search Continues for Missing Endangered San Angelo Doctor

The Criminal Investigations Division of the San Angelo Police Department is continuing the investigation into the disappearance of 55-year-old Grady Bryan, a San Angelo resident who went missing Monday evening.

Yesterday morning, police issued a Nixle Alert for Bryan, who was deemed endangered due to a medical condition.

Police have learned that Bryan went for a walk near his residence in the 5800 block of Pecan Valley Lane Monday evening around 9:00 p.m. but never returned.  His personal property, including his vehicle, was located at the residence. There is no evidence of foul play or abduction.

Search efforts continued throughout the day yesterday in the area surrounding his residence and along the Concho River. The Department’s K9 Unit and Lake Patrol Division were utilized in the ground and water search, while Texas Department of Public Safety provided air search by helicopter. Despite all efforts, Bryan was not located.

Bryan was wearing a blue-colored Nike T-Shirt and gray-colored athletic shorts at the time he went missing.  He is 5’09”, 140 lbs., has brown hair and blue eyes.

If you have information about the whereabouts of Bryan, please call the Department’s Non-Emergency line at 325-657-4315 or 9-1-1 if Bryan appears to be in need of medical attention.

This is an ongoing investigation and no other information is available at this time.  Updates with the case will be distributed via press release.
