Firefighters Investigate Structure Fire in Home on N. Washington

The San Angelo Fire Department was dispatched to fight a structure fire at 114 N. Washington St. late Monday morning. There were no visible signs of a fire from the outside, but inside the fire department reported a possible fire, or heat source, in a wall. They are also investigating the attic.

“We had a fire here, and it’s under investigation,” said Battalion Chief Jerry Hunt. He said that one person was in the home when the suspected fire was reported. The San Angelo Fire Marshal’s office will be investigating. No one was injured and there was minimal damage inside, Hunt said.
