Adopting a resolution authorizing the city attorney to provide legal notice of termination of lease for tenants in the Lake Nasworthy Addition for failure to make payment, annual rent being past due for more than 180 days, is on the city council's agenda (the amounts owed range between $473 -$902). At 9 a.m. this morning, the city council will convene at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Dr.
Two twelve-yard dump trucks, with the option to buy a third in the amount of $315,000, from Lonestar Truck DBA Corley Freightliner is also up for consideration, as well as authorizing the City Manager to execute any related documents for the 2015 Water Line Improvements to Darnell Construction, LLC of San Angelo in the amount of $1,320,963.27.
Regular agenda items that will be open to public comment include the possibility of adopting a new city logo, the incorporation of the letter grade system at local eateries, the removal of a traffic signal control at Main St. and Koberlin St.; consideration of a petition seeking annexation of some properties located west of the city limits, adding art to the Red Arroyo Trail Project, and the first public hearing and consideration of approving an ordinance that would prohibit the use of certain groundwater from beneath the property located at 601 W.11 St., presented by Water Utilities Director Bill Riley and Wendland Manufacturing representative, Brad Jackson.
