The City of San Angelo Development and Design Awards 2014 where held yesterday evening at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, 1 Love St.
This marks the awards ceremony's seventh year. Residential and commercial developers were recognized in four categories; Adaptive Reuse, Residential Design, Landscape of the Year, and Architectural Commercial Design.

Howard says the city sponsors the awards ceremony, which is also supported not only by the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, but the Home Builders Association, and the Board of Realtors as well.

- Green’s Grocery for adaptive Reuse for the repurposing of the old Luby’s Cafeteria
- Concho River Revitalize for Landscape of the Year
- and local residents Cunninghams, 2666 Kings Rd., who took home the award for Residential Design
