Much of the City’s Community Development Building will be closed Friday afternoon as the offices that occupy its first floor are reorganized.
The main entrance to the building at 52 W. College Ave., adjacent to City Hall, will close at noon Friday, March 27. It will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, March 30. The public will not have access Friday afternoon to the Planning and Development Services Department; the Building Inspections and Permits, Planning and GIS divisions; and the Fire Marshal’s Office.
The closure will not impact the Neighborhood and Family Services Department, which is accessed through the WIC entrance on the building’s northwest corner. The Women, Infants and Children offices are closed on Fridays.
Citizens needing access to the Water Utilities Department’s administrative offices on the second floor of the Community Development Building may call 325-657-4209 and a staff member will meet them at the entrance to let them in.
