Freezing temperatures have outlying school districts concerned about icy road conditions Tuesday morning. Some have announced weather delays for Feb. 24.
According to the National Weather Service in San Angelo:
Fog and freezing drizzle is expected to develop over a large part of west central Texas during the very early morning hours Tuesday. If freezing drizzle persists in any given area, it may result in a new glaze forming on bridges, overpasses and roads. With temperatures remaining several degrees below freezing early Tuesday morning, any lingering coat of sleet or ice on the roads across the region will remain on these roads overnight and early Tuesday morning. This could affect the Tuesday morning commute and motorists are urged to drive with extra caution.
Conditions area wide will improve beginning late Tuesday morning as temperatures climb above freezing.
Schools reporting late openings are:

- Christoval ISD - two-hour delay
