Supermarket, Restaurant and Retail Hours for Christmas Eve and Day

Holiday hours are in effect for most San Angelo restaurants and supermarkets, many of which will be operating on shorter schedules on Dec. 24 and who will close their doors on Christmas Day.

Those planning to dine out for Christmas Eve may need to plan for an early dinner, as the majority of chains will close early, and the list is down to seven restaurants for Christmas Day diners.

Supermarkets as well will be closed on Christmas Day, including Walmart, which will reopen for business at 6 a.m. on Dec. 26.

Most retailers will be open for last-minute shoppers on Christmas Eve, but will shut their doors for Christmas Day.

Below is a list of supermarket hours for both days, as well as the schedules of major chains on Christmas Eve and the few restaurants open on Christmas Day.

Please note the restaurant list reflects information from the Chamber of Commerce, as well as our own efforts. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, we suggest you call ahead and ask. The restaurants in green are open on Christmas Day.

Albertsons: open 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day
