Shannon Hospitalist Earns Board Certification

Gopimohan Das, MD, Shannon Hospitalist, received his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Das earned his medical degree from the University of Pretoria in Pretoria, South Africa. He then completed his internship at Groote Schuur Hospital and Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa, and his internal medicine residency at Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. As a hospitalist, he specializes in treating patients in the hospital setting.

Board certification is a voluntary program in which specialists seek to improve their performance and demonstrate a commitment to their profession.
