Missing Woman Found in Abilene

Patricia Gomez has been located and is reported to be safe, after having been listed as a missing person for the past three days.

Officer Tracy Gonzalez with the San Angelo Police Department said Gomez was found in Abilene, where she was called in as a suspicious person to the Abilene Police Department. When officers arrived, the learned that Gomez was the subject of a missing persons report and that she was in need of medical attention.

She was taken to a hospital in Abilene where she is being treated. Gomez, 50, suffers from dementia and had last been seen Saturday evening in the 100 block of W. 18th St.
