Head Start Open Enrollment Begins June 3 in San Angelo

The San Angelo ISD Head Start program offers quality early childhood education for three and four year olds at no cost, however, families must meet the 2014 poverty income guidelines.  We focus on family service, parent involvement, quality educational services, access to health care and age appropriate screenings, as well as services for children with disabilities.

Day and Rio Vista also have Early Head Start for children ages 0-3 years of age and the Pregnant Mom’s Program.  The Head Start Pregnant Moms program ensures that expectant moms have access to prenatal health care and receive adequate training on child development, breastfeeding, lactation, nutrition, SIDS, shaken baby, and the period of purple crying.

Please contact the center of your choice for more information on what to bring in to register your child.
