Two Drivers Taken to Hospital After Crash at 19th & Martin Luther King

A Ford Thunderbird and a Subaru wagon crashed at the intersection of 19th Street and Martin Luther King Drive just before 2 p.m. on Friday. San Angelo Police Department’s Officer Bryan Bylsma is investigating the crash and summarized the event. “At this time, all indications are that the grey Subaru was westbound on 19th Street and the Thunderbird was southbound on MLK; a witness told me that the Ford had a green light and the Subaru entered the intersection where they collided,” Bylsma said. “I have not been able to talk to either driver at this time.” Bylsma said both drivers were male, and medics used C-collars and stretchers as a precaution as the Subaru driver was complaining about his head and neck.
