Drugs High on City Streets Wednesday

Drugs were the high crime Wednesday, when six criminals were arrested for possession and an additional one was arrested for pot. Theft ran a close second, accounting for five of the 25 inmates booked into Tom Green County Jail.

In addition, there were two public intoxication arrests, one DWI, two assualts, one evading arest and one reckless driving charge. 

Twenty-five inmates were released on Wednesday.
