The Children’s Advocacy Center’s (CAC) annual Champagne & Diamonds fundraiser has sold out for the last three years. The popular event is scheduled every year on Valentine’s Day and now in its 13th year.
The evening begins at 6:30 pm on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at the Cactus Hotel. Proceeds benefit the CAC and the children and families they serve.
Champagne & Diamonds is a premier event for San Angelo. The evening promises to be a night to remember with your sweetheart and includes dinner, cocktails, light music and a live and silent auction. The evening will sparkle with anticipation as 100 glasses of champagne are sold for $100 each and one lucky winner will walk away with the champagne glass that contains a one-carat, $5,000 diamond which was generously donated by Mark Priest with Legend Jewelers.
"It is all about the children," says Mark Priest, owner of Legend Jewelers. "We applaud the Children's Advocacy Center. The Champagne and Diamonds event not only raises money but also raises awareness in the community about the importance of CAC. We are honored to be involved and committed to helping the children."
The Children's Advocacy Center of Tom Green County, Inc. strives to prevent child abuse and neglect and secure for each child a safe and nurturing home through four programs: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Hope House, Family Enrichment Services and Child Fatality Review Team.
