Pedestrian Hit By Chevy Pickup in Downtown San Angelo

A vehicle hit a male pedestrian at approximately 4 p.m. at the intersection of S. Chadbourne St. at E. Concho Ave. in downtown San Angelo.

An unidentified pedestrian was struck by a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup traveling westbound on Concho. San Angelo Police on the scene said a citation was issued for failure to yield right-of-way to a pedestrian and noted that the afternoon setting sun’s glare was a factor.

The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to Community Medical Center with minor injuries, said police.
