Sunday Sees Assault in San Angelo

Violence was rampant in Tom Green County Sunday, as seven out of 18 inmates booked into the jail were arrested on assault charges, two of which were aggravated, one sexual, and one for threats.

DWI arrests dropped a bit from Saturday, accounting for three total charges, followed by public intoxication with two. Theft dropped almost completely off the radar on Sunday, as only one arrest was made, followed by evading arrest, fighting, and interfering with public duties, a spread similar to that of Saturday.

There were 19 inmates released on Sunday.
