Drunk Driving Incidents Remain High on Saturday

Drunk driving seems to have been a theme in San Angelo over the weekend, as Saturday's DWI offenses remained high, accounting for four bookings into the Tom Green County Jail.

Assault ran a close second on Saturday, with three inmates booked on those charges, and the remainder of the 20 show no particular trend, but rather a diversity in criminal activity.

There were two public intoxications, one paraphernalia charge, one possession charge, one fighting, one hindering apprehension and one interfering with public duties.

Nineteen inmates were released.
