Theft Retakes First Place as Crime of Choice

After a bit of a lull on Monday, theft has regained its spot as the favored crime of San Angelo’s unsavory side.

There 48 incidents in the San Angelo Police report, and 33 total inmates booked in the Tom Green County Jail.

Of the 48 incidents, 13 were theft, with six thieves booked.

Local law enforcement closed nine warrants and released 29 inmates from the County Jail.

One incident involved an individual in possession of methamphetamines.
