Learn all about local business and meet the LIVE! team at the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce’s 22nd Annual Business Expo on September 26 at the McNease Convention Center at 500 Rio Concho Dr.
The event is set to showcase local businesses’ goods and services and is open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
All members of the LIVE! staff will be on the scene, reporting on local businesses that make San Angelo the dynamic community it is, and presenting ourselves and our product to the public.
If you’ve always wondered who we are, have a question or a comment, want to submit a story idea, or just want to have a chat, come on down and say hello.
Additional attractions include six free seminars on business topics that are scheduled to run throughout the day, as well as a grand prize giveaway, silent auction and happy hour from 4:30-6:30.
The theme of this year’s Business Expo is “Wizard of Oz,” and in case you also failed to make the business connection on that one, the idea is to encourage attendees to “follow the yellow brick road to success.”
Vice President for the Chamber and Lead Organizer for the event, Sandra Pomroy says: “The primary purpose of Business Expo is to encourage local purchasing by showcasing available products and services from our community.”
The Expo also offers an avenue to network and make business contacts within the community.
Free tickets may be acquired in advance at the chamber office, 418 W. Ave. B in the Visitor Center, or you can get them online from the Chamber website, www.sanangelo.org.
On the day of Expo, admission is $3 per person.
