Shannon Flu Clinic to Open September 16

Shannon Medical Clinic is hosting a walk-in flu shot clinic from September 16-20 at its 120 E. Beauregard location on the first floor from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The clinic is open to the public and insurance is accepted; for those without insurance the cost is $20. 

According to the Center for Disease control, flu season can begin as early as October and can last until late May.

Vaccination can take up to two weeks for the antibodies to become effective.
