San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts to Kick off Chamber Music Season with Conteño

 

September is not only the beginning of fall, but also the beginning of the Chamber Music season.

The first San Angelo Chamber Music Concert will be held Sunday, September 15, at 2:00 p.m. at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts located at One Love Street.

The featured artist is Conteño from Brownsville, known for their balance of Conjunto, Tejano, and Norteño music.

Conteño provides an interactive and educational view of regional Mexican accordion music and its history, states aMus SAMFA press release.

  • $12- Public
  • $10- Art Museum Members
  • $7 Students, Military, and Senior Citizens
