WATCH: Barrel Racing Turns Into Dueling Pianos on Final Night of Prelims

SAN ANGELO, TX – The final night of the prelims was filled with Stumblin' and bumblin'.

Well it wasn’t just one horse that fell in the lap of a cowboy on Thursday night but two.  And just like the pair of wild broncs the crowd saw a pair of wild stallions as well.

Barrel Racers Shannon McReynolds and Dona Kay Rule stole the show. Dona Kay went first notching a 14 point 2-9 time and then McReynolds showed her up with a 14 point 1-2 time, the fastest of the rodeo. Both are tied for first heading into the short go on Friday night.

The two cowgirls, yes two cowgirls, went on camera at the same time with San Angelo LIVE!s Manny Diaz to talk about the quick competition.

It’s barrel racing presented by Bad Boy Mowers at Henderson Tractor and Implement.
