WATCH: The Few, The Proud, and The Shoeless

SAN ANGELO, TX – It was military appreciation night on Wednesday at the 90th annual San Angelo Rodeo and what better way to show them we are thankful than having them chase a bull fighter around the arena.

The men and women from the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine, and National Guard participated in a boot scramble. The goal of the scramble is to take one boot off, run to one side and back in the arena, put your boot back on, and then catch the bull fighter.

One former service member Laura Torres was able to catch that slick guy and pull him down. The amazing tackle from the former marine showed why she the few, the proud and the shoeless.

Another event that was hot enough to knock your socks off was the bull riding. Most cowboys had a bad day including the dummy Mitchell who’s head went to kingdom come.

But for the Montana Cowboy, Parker Breding, he managed to dominate the bull Deplorable giving him a 83-point score. Breding and San Angelo LIVE!’s Manny Diaz caught up after the ride to talk about his next move. Check out the video above.
