SAN ANGELO, TX – West Texas welcomed a number of cowboys on Sunday to compete in the 90th annual San Angelo Rodeo.
One cowboy in particular was Utah cowboy Coburn Bradshaw. Bradshaw was no stranger to West Texas as he rode broncs at Western Texas College in Snyder.
Bradshaw rode Pete Carr's Gold Coast for an 82 point ride. The million dollar cowboy and four time NFR qualifier is now in the top 10.
Later in the bareback, Kennan Reed Hayes of Hayden, Co. Took on Hampton Pro Rodeo's Rising Tide. He was able to take the lead in the rough stock event with a score of 84 points.
The run of the matinee came from the Steer Wrestling. Two time NFR champion Dakota Eldridge captured the crowds attention with a ferocious 3.7 time.
