SAN ANGELO, TX - The final days of the San Angelo Stock Show in February are here as competition ends Friday.
Starting off today on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, the schedule is packed with various competitions.
The Junior Rabbit Show kicked off at 8 a.m., followed by the Junior Breeding Sheep Show, Ewe Lamb Futurity, and the TLBAA Youth & World Qualifying Haltered Texas Longhorn Show throughout the day.
The action continues into the evening with the TLBAA Youth Texas Longhorn Show at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, Feb. 17, the Livestock Judging Contest, Meats Judging Contest, Wildlife Judging Contest, and Wool Judging Contest will occur.
The day's highlight includes the Junior & Open Breeding Sheep Show Wave 2 featuring Dorper & White Dorper breeds, starting at 10 a.m. The TLBAA World Qualifying Haltered Texas Longhorn Show follows suit at 10 a.m.
Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, marks the final day of the February installment with events such as the Junior Breeding Sheep Show, TLBAA Youth Texas Longhorn Show, and Open Breeding Sheep Show Wave 2 taking place at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The show will resume on Friday, April 5, 2024, featuring the Open and Youth Miniature Hereford Shows. The weekend will witness arrivals, check-ins, and competitions, culminating in the Youth Miniature Hereford Show on Saturday, April 6, and the Open Miniature Hereford Show on Sunday, April 7.
The calendar extends further into April, with the Junior Robotics Arena & Robotics Inventions Competitions scheduled for Saturday, April 13, and the highly anticipated Livestock Premium Sale on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 2 p.m.
