SAN ANGELO, TX —The San Angelo Rodeo Association has created an extension of the Spur Club called 'The 'Chute Club,' and has provided a membership application form for those interested in becoming members on their website. Situated in the Gandy Ink Sale Pavilion at the northern end of the livestock barn, the Chute Club offers exclusive privileges for its members. According to Rodeo Manager of The San Angelo Rodeo Association Josh Hilton, The Chute Club was formed due to the extensive waitlist time associated with the Spur Club.
Josh Hilton joined the team in June 2020 and brings a vast knowledge of the rodeo industry and has a sound production business in the rodeo industry. Hilton was the Music Director at the San Angelo rodeo for over a decade before becoming part of our full-time staff and a three-time PRCA Music Director of the Year, heading up the association's newest social club.
The Chute Club will be open every Friday and Saturday evening and will continue throughout each Rodeo Show held on Fridays and Saturdays for the three-week duration. The club will offer an open bar from the time it opens until the rodeo starts. Members will have full access to the club amenities including drinks, catered food, live music, and more. Hilton said the live music acts are still to be determined but the food will be catered by OH Triangle Ranch. All ages are welcome but kids will be required to use one of the passes to come into the full access area.

Location and Benefits:
Situated in the Gandy Ink Sale Pavilion at the northern end of the livestock barn, the Chute Club offers exclusive privileges for its members.
- Individual memberships are available for an annual fee of $600.00.
- Individual memberships include 2 member badges and 6 guest passes.
- A $50.00 replacement fee applies to all lost badges.
Access and Guests:
- Proof of membership is mandatory for entry into the club.
- Guests must possess a badge for entry, and members can bring a maximum of 2 guests per night.
- Complimentary food and alcohol are provided before the rodeo starts.
- Cash bar available for members and guests choosing to watch the rodeo in the club.
Payment and Responsibility:
- All purchases must be made in cash, and tabs are available for members' convenience.
- Members settle their tabs at the end of each visit.
- Members are responsible for their guests' actions and must inform them of club rules and procedures.

Conduct and Termination:
- Rude, abusive, or unconventional conduct by a member or guest may result in the termination of membership without a refund.
- The San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo board governs this action.
- The Chute Club reserves the right to terminate any membership not in the best interest of the Chute Club or the SASS&R.
Additional Perks:
- Members receive a VIP parking pass for the designated VIP parking area.
- The Chute Club operates on Fridays and Saturdays during the rodeo, totaling 6 nights.
Rules:
- Badges and guest passes must be presented for Club entry.
- Proper and acceptable dress is mandatory for admission.
- Alcoholic beverages sold in the club must be provided by the Club concessionaire.
- Smoking is prohibited in the Chute Club.
- Members are liable for damages or loss of Club property; nothing may be taken from the Club premises.
- All Club memberships are subject to approval by the SASS&R Board of Directors
