SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo Stock Show officials released the Agricultural Public Speaking competition results from the Sunday competition.
The competition showcases the impressive oratory skills of young participants in the field of agriculture.
In the junior division, Branham Whitworth from Rusk County 4-H emerged as the Grand Champion, delivering a speech in the category of junior animal science.
Gracia Smith, representing Waller County 4-H, secured the Reserve Grand Champion title with her speech on junior agricultural policy. Keeli Blaize Whitaker of Cisco FFA claimed the third-place spot, with her presentation on junior agribusiness.
In the senior division, Jordan VanWinkle of Sulphur Springs FFA seized the coveted Grand Champion position, demonstrating proficiency in senior agricultural policy.
Katie Turner, a representative of Llano County 4-H, earned the Reserve Grand Champion distinction for her discourse on senior natural resources.
Randen Williams of Borden FFA, who showcased expertise in the senior natural resources category, took third place.
