SAN ANGELO, TX - The results of the 2024 Sheep and Goat Skillathon were unveiled on Friday, Feb. 2.
The event showcased the impressive skills of young participants across three categories: junior, intermediate, and senior.
Berklee Schniers from Hale County 4-H emerged victorious in the junior category, showcasing outstanding skills. The remaining four junior exhibitors and their respective placements are as follows:
- Keagan Potter, Mason County 4-H (Second Place)
- Audrey Carr, Randall County 4-H (Third Place)
- Bergen Schniers, Hale County 4-H (Fourth Place)
- Parker Cook, Runnels County 4-H (Fifth Place)
Julie Lipka of Kerr County 4-H claimed the top spot in the intermediate category. The other four exhibitors in this category and their rankings are:
- Jessica Bean, Runnels County 4-H (Second Place)
- Royce Cook, Runnels County 4-H (Third Place)
- Kwade A Cleveland, Plains FFA (Fourth Place)
- Sutton Klay Alexander, Kerr County 4-H (Fifth Place)
In the senior category, Addison Hahn from Gillespie County 4-H secured the first-place position. The remaining four senior exhibitors and their rankings are:
- Olivia Bean, Runnels County 4-H (Second Place)
- Johan Grotegut, Deaf Smith County 4-H (Third Place)
- Laney Lastly, Mason FFA (Fourth Place)
- Josef Grotegut, Deaf Smith County 4-H (Fifth Place)
