The 2022 San Angelo Rodeo Kicks Off

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The 90th annual San Angelo Rodeo kicked off Friday night, April 1, 2022, at the Foster Communications Coliseum. Crowds were moderately big as fans arrived to pack the 4,950 capacity coliseum.

The rodeo will continue this weekend with performances at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Next week, the rodeo resumes from Thursday, April 7 until Sunday, April 10. The April 10 Sunday show is the X-Treme Bulls Bullriding performance. In all there are 13 performances planned with Friday, April 15 being the finals of the PRCA competition. Saturday, April 16, is the Cinch Chute Out.
