SAN ANGELO, TX – Exhibitors from across the state of Texas flocked to the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo back in February to compete for a coveted sale slot in the Premium Sale. Animals entered in the Junior Market Steer Show, Junior Market Barrow Show, Junior Market Lamb Show, Junior Wether Goat Show are eligible for the sale.
The sale will be different this year because the stock show was held in February and the sale is being held on Saturday, April 24 so no animals will be present.
Last year the premium sale raised over $1,000,000 for the first time. All the money raised through the auction goes to the exhibitors. It is unclear how the pandemic will affect the premium sale bottom line.
The 2021 Premium Sale will be held, Saturday, April 24, 2021 starting at 2:00 p.m. in the 1st Community Credit Union Spur Arena.
