SAN ANGELO, TX – Officials with the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Wednesday announced changes to the scholarship application process because of Coronavirus.
According to the Association, due to restrictions currently in place across the state due to COVID-19, SASSRA is making the following adjustments to scholarship application submittal for the 2020 year:
-Applications may be submitted electronically to [email protected]. Please SCAN the completed forms and send via e-mail if necessary. The hand written narrative is STILL REQUIRED to be hand written. A picture must also be attached, but can be done electronically.
-IF your school is closed and you have difficult obtaining a transcript- an unofficial transcript will be sufficient.
-Letters of Recommendation are still required. You may either scan and send with the application or have the person that is writing the letter e-mail it directly to [email protected]. If the latter, please have them use subject: Scholarship Recommendation- Student Name.
The Deadline remains April 1 (postmark or e-mail).
