Did the Best of the Best at the 2020 San Angelo Stock Show Premium Sale Break a Record $1 Million?

SAN ANGELO, TX – The final Saturday of the San Angelo Stock Show and Rode at the San Angelo fairgrounds is highlighted by the stock show premium sale where the winning competitors in each of the junior market shows sell their livestock to buyers. 

For the first time, the Premium Sale brought in over $1 million.

There were 221 animal projects which made the 2020 premium sale and 139 exhibitors made the auction in the Gandy Ink show barn.  The grand champion and reserve grand champion in four categories highlight the sale.  The four categories are market steer, market goat, market barrow and market lamb.  Thousands of competitors enter the San Angelo Stock Show every year hoping to be one of the top entries to make the premium sale.
