WATCH: Sights and Sounds from the Rodeo Parade

SAN ANGELO, TX – Thousands of people converged on downtown San Angelo Saturday morning for the annual and very popular rodeo parade.  Temperatures were in the 40s when the parade started but clear skies let the sun shine and it warmed up nicely.

Watch video from the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Parade:

There were riding groups, mule-drawn wagons from the trail ride, military marching groups, State Representative Drew Darby waved to the crowd, city councilmen and County Commissioners along with a long list of area businesses that had floats in the parade.

People lined the streets downtown and some even cooked breakfast waiting for the parade to begin.  There were a lot of happy children young and old who delighted at the horses, wagons and floats.

The 88th annual San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo continues all day today with the championship BBQ cookoff, stock shows, the brand new carnival and rodeo performances.  Rodeo tickets are still available online and at the coliseum box office.
