Tom Green County 4H and FFA Exhibitors Gather for the Annual County Fair and Jr. Livestock Show

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The annual Tom Green County Fair and Jr. Livestock Show is this weekend and contestants are beginning to pile into the fair grounds. 

 

Trailers lined up down Grape Creek Rd. to get into the Gandy Inc. Pavilion to get their barrows, goats, and lamb into the barn for their first show of the new year. The steers and heifers entered through Lake View Heroes Dr. to get to the Housley Communications Pavilion. 

The Goat show will be held today at 3:00 p.m. This is the only show today. 

Then tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. the Swine show starts followed by the lamb show. The steer and heifer show starts at 10:00 a.m. 

The Tom Green County show will also include a rabbit and chicken show. They will be held in the Spur Arena starting at 8:30 a.m. 

Other events include the ag mechanic show and a project show.
