Longtime Business Leader, Community Advocate Announces Bid for San Angelo City Council

SAN ANGELO, TX — A local longtime business leader and community advocate officially announced a candidacy for San Angelo City Council, District 6, this afternoon at the steps of the Tom Green County Courthouse. 

Mary Coffey, who has experience in business development, financial management, and nonprofit leadership, outlined her campaign priorities, including economic growth, infrastructure improvements, and reducing "bureaucratic barriers" that impact local businesses and property owners. She also emphasized streamlining city processes and implementing policies to support homeowners, developers, realtors, and small businesses.
