SAN ANGELO, TX — Early voting for the Texas 2026 primary runoff election officially opened Monday, May 18, in Tom Green County.
Early voting continues daily through Friday, May 22. According to information available on the Tom Green County website, the main early voting site is the election office in the Edd B. and Frances Frink Keyes Building at 113 W. Beauregard Ave., open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
Additional early voting locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily during the same period:
- Concho Valley Transit District (Bus Depot), Annex building, 506 N. Chadbourne St.
- Westlake Ace Hardware, sales floor, 1821 Knickerbocker Road
- Concho Valley Community Supervision & Corrections Department and Adult Probation, training room, 3036 N. Bryant Blvd.
- MHMR Services for the Concho Valley, Jack Ray Room, 1501 W. Beauregard Ave.
Sample ballots posted on the Tom Green County website indicate that Republican voters will decide four races, while Democratic voters will decide two races.
Republican ballot races:
- United States Senator: Ken Paxton and John Cornyn (incumbent)
- Attorney General: Mayes Middleton and Chip Roy
- Railroad Commissioner: Jim Wright (incumbent) and Bo French
- Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3: Alison Fox and Thomas Smith
Democratic ballot races:
- Lieutenant Governor: Vikki Goodwin and Marco Isaias Velez
- Attorney General: Nathan Johnson and Joe Jaworski
The primary runoff election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26. Candidates who advance from the runoffs will compete in the November 2026 general election. Early voting for the November 2026 election begins Oct. 19, with Election Day on Nov. 3.
