BROWNWOOD, TX — Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) hosted a community town hall in Brownwood, where he met with constituents to share updates on his work in Washington, discuss the implications of the Democrats' ongoing government shutdown, and answer questions from those in attendance.
During the event, Congressman Pfluger also recognized Brownwood Police Chief James Fuller for his years of service to the community and his recent appointment as police chief. Chief Fuller previously served as Brownwood's Interim Police Chief on four separate occasions, in addition to having an extensive background in law enforcement.
“I had an incredible time in Brownwood at our community town hall! It was an honor to meet with so many welcoming constituents and recognize Brownwood Police Chief James Fuller for his new position and years of service to the community of Brownwood,” said Congressman August Pfluger. “While the Democrats continue to hold our government hostage, I remain committed to ensuring everyone in TX-11 has access to the information and resources they need during this time. Thank you to everyone who attended the town hall to share your ideas, concerns, and feedback with me. Your input helps me better serve you in Congress. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office if you need assistance.”
